Description

Implement standardized observability patterns and instrumentation across engineering teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to implement observability patterns aligned to established frameworks.
• Advise and assist teams in adopting OpenTelemetry-based instrumentation for metrics, logs, and traces.
• Design and maintain application integrations within Prometheus, VictoriaLogs, Jaeger, and Grafana.
• Create dashboard templates, libraries, and documentation to support framework development.
• Educate engineers through workshops, pairing sessions, and reference implementations.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure development and deployment.
• 2-3 years of software development experience with proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience working with distributed tracing systems.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
