Description

You will design, implement, and maintain observability solutions to monitor application and infrastructure performance across microservice environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build advanced visualizations, dashboards, and alerts to monitor application uptime and performance.
• Onboard new teams and data sources into the observability ecosystem.
• Establish design patterns for monitoring, benchmarking, and understanding application flows.
• Optimize the observability suite and write complex queries for reporting and alerting.
• Create and maintain operational process documentation for all observability solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with AWS, including configuring alerts and monitoring.
• Proficiency with the OpenTelemetry framework.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deep technical knowledge of monitoring tools such as Sumo Logic, New Relic, AppDynamics, Datadog, Dynatrace, ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Ability to read and write code in Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
• Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Operational experience with both agent-based and agentless monitoring tools.
• Experience with Azure cloud platforms.
• Ability to parse configuration files and write complex queries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing observability in containerized environments.
