Description

You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of production observability systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain production-scale OpenTelemetry (OTEL) environments, managing complex collector deployment and configuration.
• Design and manage metrics, logs, traces, and attribute design across observability pillars.
• Implement advanced data routing logic for telemetry, including production-ready multi-destination trace routing.
• Design and write a Developer Onboarding Framework defining integration paths and attribute standards.
• Transfer knowledge to internal teams to ensure long-term ownership of deployed observability solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in observability engineering.
• Expert, hands-on experience with OTEL implementation and configuration.
• Practical experience with observability backends: Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Tempo, and Grafana.
• Proven ability to implement advanced data routing logic in production.
• Experience designing telemetry instrumentation fundamentals (metrics, logs, traces).
• Ability to define and write developer onboarding frameworks and integration standards.
• Strong collaboration experience working with development and infrastructure teams in large organizations.
