Description

You will design, implement, and maintain observability frameworks across cloud and legacy environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain observability using AWS/GCP tools and Datadog.
• Implement best practices for metrics, logging, and tracing.
• Automate observability processes and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Triage complex distributed architecture service maps and resolve performance issues.
• Lead availability blameless postmortems and own remediation actions to prevent recurrence.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of experience with monitoring tools including Google/AWS Cloud Monitoring, Appdynamics, Datadog, Splunk, or Elastic Search.
• 7+ years of experience in system support, coding, or operations.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with Splunk or ELK stack logging tools.
• Knowledge of GCP and Datadog.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration/delivery practices.
• System administration skills including automation via Terraform, Chef, Ansible, or containers such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Certification.
• Experience managing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience building or maintaining systems in highly secure, regulated, or compliant industries.
