Description

Manage observability workflows and application monitoring within an IoT environment.

You will own the release pipeline automation and testing strategy for web applications, APIs, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Automate and streamline observability workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites across different layers of the application stack.
• Analyze test results to identify defects and collaborate with developers on issue resolution.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing on web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Execute performance, load, and stress testing to ensure system stability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SRE operations.
• 7-10 years of experience as an Observability Engineer or in a similar role.
• Working expertise in the IoT domain.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for scripting and automation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools and techniques.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in testing and automation.
