Description

You will manage the monitoring and observability strategy, standards, and platform implementation for the IT organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage the New Relic platform and associated monitoring solutions.
• Collect and visualize metrics, logs, traces, and events to ensure end-to-end observability across infrastructure and applications.
• Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports for operations, development, and security teams.
• Troubleshoot observability tooling issues and provide technical guidance to IT teams on effective tool usage.
• Research new technologies and trends within the observability domain.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in IT monitoring and observability administration, engineering, or support.
• Hands-on experience with New Relic monitoring and observability platforms.
• Proficiency with Python, Shell, and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with network, database, and web technologies.
• Experience using automation tools such as Ansible.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in IT monitoring and observability tools.
• System administration experience.
• Application performance testing experience.
