Description

Lead the architecture and implementation of observability solutions across AWS and Google Cloud infrastructure. Define technical direction for application design, integration, and platform services while ensuring security, performance, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture for application and integration design, incorporating security and scalability requirements.
• Design major aspects of application architecture, including middleware, infrastructure, and observability components.
• Analyze current state to develop roadmaps and implementation plans for future architectural goals.
• Produce high-level and low-level design documentation (HLD, LLD, TAD, TDD) and prepare backlog items for engineering.
• Serve as the architectural SME for scrum teams, reviewing technical designs and promoting pattern reuse.

Required Skills

• Grafana stack experience including metrics, traces, and logs.
• Hands-on experience with Alloy agent, OTel Collector, and exporters for open-source components.
• Application metrics exporting and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
• Programming proficiency in Python or equivalent language.
• Automation scripting using Shell scripts.
• AWS Cloud experience and working knowledge of Kubernetes applications and Helm charts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other observability platforms like Splunk.
• DevOps expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Architectural solutioning for AWS and Google Cloud infrastructure services.
