Description

Lead the architecture and implementation of observability solutions across AWS and Google Cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define technical direction for application design, integration, and platform services while ensuring security and scalability.
• Design major aspects of application architecture, including middleware, infrastructure, and observability components.
• Analyze current state to develop roadmaps and implementation plans for future architectural goals.
• Produce high-level and low-level design documentation (HLD, LLD, TAD, TDD) and prepare backlog items for engineering.
• Serve as the architectural SME for scrum teams, reviewing technical designs and promoting pattern reuse.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture or observability engineering.
• Deep expertise in the Grafana stack, including metrics, traces, and logs.
• Hands-on experience with Alloy agent, OTel Collector, and exporters for open-source components.
• Proficiency in application metrics exporting and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
• Programming proficiency in Python or an equivalent language.
• Automation scripting using Shell scripts.
• AWS Cloud experience with working knowledge of Kubernetes applications and Helm charts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other observability platforms like Splunk.
• DevOps expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
