Description

You will design, implement, and maintain full-stack observability solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain full stack observability using Dynatrace, covering distributed tracing, RUM, synthetic monitoring, and custom events.
• Build Grafana dashboards using Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, or other data sources to visualize service health and KPIs.
• Define and enforce telemetry standards across metrics, logs, traces, and events for consistent instrumentation.
• Develop and maintain SLOs, SLIs, Error Budgets, and reliability scorecards for critical services.
• Automate monitoring setup and configuration using scripts, APIs, IaC (Terraform), or Dynatrace Configuration as Code.

Required Skills

• Dynatrace OneAgent deployment/configuration on Linux, Windows, or Kubernetes.
• Deep experience with Distributed tracing (PurePath), RUM, and Synthetic Monitoring.
• Expertise in using Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) for dashboards and analysis.
• Strong understanding of OpenTelemetry (OTel) specification and instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native monitoring stacks (EKs, AKS, GKE).
• Proficiency with logging systems such as Splunk, ELK, or Loki.
• Ability to model SLO/SLI aligned with business objectives and apply SRE principles.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong query skills in DQL, LogQL, or SQL.
