Description

You will own the observability, triaging, and troubleshooting of large-scale network and customer premises equipment (CPE) data to ensure service reliability across wireless networks and infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain dashboards and alerts in Splunk, Kibana, Instana, and Grafana to monitor system, application, and network health.
• Perform L1/L2/L3 triaging of incidents related to CPE, routers, and wireless infrastructure to minimize MTTR.
• Correlate metrics, logs, traces, and events to proactively identify anomalies, service degradation, and fallout patterns.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and document findings with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Analyze fallout reports for provisioning failures, connectivity drops, and configuration errors to drive automation improvements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network monitoring, observability, or site reliability engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Splunk (SPL, dashboards, alerts), Elastic Stack/Kibana, Instana, and Grafana.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, RF basics, and CPE device management.
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex network and service-level issues.
• Strong data analysis skills to interpret large datasets and identify trends in network/device telemetry.
• Ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 operational environment with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience automating recurring analysis and reporting using queries, alerts, and scheduled jobs.
