Description

You will own the architecture and implementation of the observability strategy across the SIEM modernization ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end telemetry and traceability for data events across all platforms.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and alerting for faults, latency, throughput bottlenecks, and data quality issues.
• Instrument every pipeline component with health and performance metrics using native exporters or custom collectors.
• Implement and enforce correlation IDs or tracing metadata to track data flow across systems.
• Integrate monitoring solutions with Grafana, Azure Monitor, and PowerBI for various stakeholder needs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with data pipeline layers including Cribl, Vector, and NiFi.
• Familiarity with event transport systems like Event Hubs and intermediate storage like Blob.
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools: Splunk, Snowflake, Adx, Log Analytics, Anvilogic.
• Ability to monitor Azure Event Hubs partition health and consumer group lag.
• Experience ensuring data quality and tracking schema mismatches during ingestion and storage.
• Strong understanding of telemetry design and data flow tracing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating with PowerBI for stakeholder reporting.
