Description

You will define and execute end-to-end observability strategies across application, data, and infrastructure layers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment frameworks covering coverage, signal quality, architecture, workflows, and cost.
• Drive tool rationalization strategies including reduce, replace, and integrate decisions.
• Design target-state architectures with telemetry models, service identity, and SLO-driven alerting.
• Establish AI/AIOps integration for signal correlation, deduplication, and incident summarization.
• Own the engineering blueprint for day-one observability and integration with ITSM platforms.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in observability architecture and engineering.
• Deep expertise with Dynatrace (APM, tracing) and Azure Monitor & Application Insights.
• Proficiency in Azure Log Analytics including KQL, ingestion, and cost management.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor or ManageEngine.
• Strong understanding of ActiveBatch scheduler monitoring and SQL Sentry for database monitoring.
• Proven track record of integrating observability with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.
• Ability to design multi-tool rationalization and consolidation strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with service-centric observability and dependency modeling.
• Strong executive communication and consulting mindset.
