OCI Architect

You will design and implement end-to-end Oracle Cloud Infrastructure architectures and lead workload migrations.

Responsibilities

• Own OCI architecture including tenancy structures, compartment hierarchies, and IAM policy design.
• Architect VCNs, DRGs, FastConnect, and Site-to-Site VPNs for hybrid-cloud connectivity.
• Develop production-ready Terraform scripts and CI/CD pipelines to automate environment provisioning.
• Lead migration strategies for legacy workloads using OKE and Autonomous Database.
• Execute cost-optimization analyses and engineer multi-region DR strategies to meet RTO/RPO targets.
• Provide technical direction to offshore delivery teams and present roadmaps to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Cloud Architecture experience with 3 years of hands-on OCI implementation.
• Deep expertise in OCI Core Services: Compute, Block/Object Storage, VCN, Load Balancing, and IAM.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
• Practical experience deploying and managing OCI Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service, and DBCS.
• Proficiency with OCI Vault/KMS, Security Zones, Cloud Guard, and WAF.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in New York City.

Preferred Skills

• OCI Solutions Architect Professional certification.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for cloud automation.
• Experience with CIS OCI Foundations Benchmark and SOC2/HIPAA compliance.
• Experience managing OCI environments for large-scale financial or enterprise institutions.
