Description

You will lead the architecture and execution of complex container migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute migrations from PCF/TAS to OCP, ensuring seamless transition and high availability.
• Configure, deploy, and manage OCP and Kubernetes environments, adhering to scalability and security best practices.
• Lead technical problem-solving efforts concerning application deployment, platform differences, and cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers on migration challenges and best practices in containerization and cloud environments.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated deployments.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years hands-on with OCP configuration management and Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with PCF/TAS and OCP in enterprise application environments (Java, .NET).
• Proven track record leading migration projects, specifically within Financial Services.
• In-depth knowledge of migration frameworks such as Konveyor, Move2Kube, and OpenRewrite.
• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Harness, GitHub Actions, and Helm charts.
• Proficiency with cloud technologies, containerization, and cloud-native development practices.
• Ability to make technical decisions and align strategy across cross-functional teams.
