Description

Lead the migration of applications from Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). Manage OCP and Kubernetes environments to ensure performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Migrate enterprise applications from PCF to OCP using frameworks like Konveyor, Move2Kube, and OpenRewrite.
• Configure, deploy, and manage OCP and Kubernetes environments for complex Java/.NET applications.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Helm charts with integrated DevSecOps practices.
• Troubleshoot platform differences, migration challenges, and containerization issues.
• Mentor team members and collaborate on cloud-native solution design.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in OCP configuration and Kubernetes deployments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with PCF/TAS and OCP development in complex environments.
• Strong expertise in Java and .NET application development.
• Proven track record leading PCF to OCP migration projects in enterprise settings.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Helm.
• Knowledge of migration tools: Konveyor, Move2Kube, OpenRewrite.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Familiarity with security tools (Snyk, Dependabot, SonarCloud) and GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
