PROJECT OVERVIEW
This role will support an Okta Governance modernization initiative, migrating identity governance processes and applications from legacy IBM Tivoli Identity Management (ITIM) to Okta Identity Governance (OIG).
The project is a largely greenfield implementation with multiple phases planned, providing an opportunity to work on large-scale identity modernization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, configure, and maintain Okta Identity Governance solutions.
Build and customize Okta Workflows and automation processes.
Develop and integrate custom Okta connectors.
Configure Lifecycle Management, Access Governance, Access Certification, Groups, Rules, Bundles, and Schemas.
Work with Okta native APIs and REST APIs for integrations and automation.
Support migration from IBM Tivoli ITIM to Okta OIG.
Configure and maintain identity provisioning and access management processes.
Collaborate with IT Operations, Security, Application Development, and Business teams.
Ensure IAM solutions follow security, compliance, and organizational best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS
6+ years of overall IT experience
4+ years of IT Security experience
5+ years of strong Okta experience preferred
Strong IGA / IAM background
Hands-on experience with Okta Workflows, Connectors, Groups, Rules, Governance, Bundles & Schema Configuration
Experience building custom identity solutions with Okta
Strong knowledge of Okta REST APIs and API parameters
Experience with Users & Groups APIs for application assignment/unassignment
Knowledge of API pagination and query filtering
Experience querying Okta logs and events
Strong understanding of OIDC & OAuth flows
Knowledge of Okta policies, rules, MFA, and API responses
Understanding of common Okta API error codes
Strong IAM knowledge including SAML, OAuth, authentication, provisioning, and directory services
Git and CI/CD experience
Secure coding and security best practices

Java / Python / JavaScript experience is a plus, but not mandatory
