Description

You will design and implement Okta-based IAM solutions integrated with AWS services to manage access for cloud applications and resources.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Okta-based multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) using SAML and OIDC.
• Integrate Okta with AWS CloudFront for authentication and authorization within content delivery networks.
• Configure Okta as the identity provider for AWS services and manage IAM policies, roles, and permissions.
• Develop serverless IAM-related microservices using AWS Lambda and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement AWS WAF rules and monitor IAM-related issues to perform root cause analysis and remediation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an IAM engineer focusing on Okta and AWS technologies.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Okta administration and integration within AWS environments.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including IAM, CloudFront, WAF, Lambda, and AWS Security Hub.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, identity federation, SSO, MFA, and least privilege principles.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or AWS CLI.
• Experience designing and developing secure microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Security Specialty or Okta Certified Professional certifications.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, or HIPAA.
