Description

You will design and implement scalable OLTP data solutions within an agile environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data persistence and transport solutions using modern data technologies.
• Collaborate with agile teams and stakeholders to deliver efficient data architectures.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to validate system behavior and identify technical problems.
• Generate and review design documents based on project requirements and technical solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and support architectural standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience developing OLTP platforms and data modeling.
• Extensive experience with relational databases including Postgres and MS SQL.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL technologies, specifically MongoDB.
• Deep understanding of AWS data services and managed services such as Atlas and Snowflake.
• Experience developing scalable data access using APIs and Kafka producers/consumers.
• Solid understanding of data management and architecture best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple workloads within an agile project team.
• Strong technical communication skills for conveying details to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior team members and enforcing architectural standards.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
