Description

Design, develop, and configure Hyland OnBase ECM solutions for life insurance claims processing. You will build OnBase Workflow and Case Management for claims intake, validation, adjudication, approvals, and payouts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure document types, keywords, folders, life cycles, security, and retention policies aligned with life insurance compliance.
• Implement digital claims folders to provide a unified view of claim documents, metadata, and workflow status.
• Integrate OnBase with core insurance systems, payment platforms, and policy administration systems via APIs.
• Configure document capture and ingestion from multiple channels including scan, email, portals, and APIs.
• Perform unit, system, and UAT testing, resolve defects, and provide production support for workflow and performance issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Hyland OnBase Workflow, Case Management, and Document Management.
• Experience with Unity Client, WorkView, Application Enabler, or OnBase APIs.
• Knowledge of OnBase security, records management, and retention policies.
• Proven experience in life insurance claims processing, including death claims, maturity/surrender, and beneficiary communications.
• Understanding of insurance core systems and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with metadata-driven document retrieval, workflow rules, and exception handling.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to insurance modernization or ECM transformation programs.
