Description

Develop and maintain P&C insurance applications using the OneShield Dragon Designer Tool.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage code for UI, Rating, Forms, Workflow, and Object Modeling modules.
• Analyze technical and business processes to implement defined specifications.
• Execute unit testing, debugging, and impact analysis to troubleshoot enhancements.
• Write database triggers, PL/SQL, and packages to support Java-facing applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and integrate external systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in property and casualty (P&C) insurance.
• Hands-on experience with OneShield Dragon Designer Tool.
• Deep knowledge of Workflow, Rating, DAP, QPP/DEC, and Rating worksheet transformations.
• Experience with metadata-driven policy administration systems and rate/rules changes.
• Practical experience with 3rd party insurance data sources (ISO, LexisNexis, IVANS).
• Ability to perform object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech) required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, and Oracle Administration.
• Prior consulting experience and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
