Description

You will lead the design and development of high-volume, low-latency microservices for mission-critical business systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, fine-grained microservices and application modules.
• Implement microservice integration, packaging, build automation, and deployment processes.
• Ensure high availability and performance for all mission-critical application services.
• Apply object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java development experience.
• Deep expertise in Java 8, JEE, and Java internals including class loading, memory management, and transaction management.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring frameworks.
• Proven track record with microservices frameworks, OSGi specifications, and SPARKS.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design and SQL using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with ORM technologies like JPA2 and Hibernate.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, message queues, and event-driven architecture.
• At least two years of experience in SOA and microservices-based processes using BPM tools like Activiti, JBPM, or Camunda.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
