Description

Manage third-party software risks for OSS and COTS in legacy and heterogeneous environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manual clearing requests to verify fitness for submission and identify security or licensing issues.
• Review and challenge development team responses regarding Permissions, Restrictions, Obligations, and Risks (PRORs).
• Provide final approval for applications and create reusable components for internal deliveries.
• Liaise and negotiate with the Legal Clearing Team to expedite requests and discuss license improvements.
• Represent the organization on the Clearing Platform Architecture Board and the Open Source Task-Force.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software compliance or related risk management.
• Proven experience managing risks for OSS and COTS components.
• Working knowledge of Apache licenses and software compliance frameworks.
• Ability to work with in-house developed tools and processes.
• Strong awareness of security risks related to third-party components and code snippets.
• Capability to manage stakeholder communication via MS Teams and report on process metrics.

• Experience working across different cultures and time zones.
