Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of open-source software within containerized and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software tools in Red Hat OpenShift or Linux-based environments.
• Develop and maintain Elixir microservices for data ingestion and transformation.
• Implement and manage data pipelines using Kafka message queues.
• Troubleshoot application outages, performance issues, and communication errors.
• Apply security patches and assess the impact of software version upgrades.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
• 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, including connection troubleshooting, backups, and query development.
• 2+ years of experience with configuration management and repositories using Helm, Quay, and GitHub.
• 2+ years of experience installing and supporting Apache Kafka and Apache Hive.
• 2+ years of experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, Kibana, and Apache HTTP server.
• 2+ years of experience working within Red Hat Linux environments and using shell scripting for automation.
• 2+ years of experience in web application development.
• Experience with scalable storage solutions supporting the S3 standard.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Elixir or ReactJS.
• Proficiency in functional languages such as Scala, Haskell, or Clojure.
