Description

You provide L2 support for ETL workflows and DataStage job monitoring. You troubleshoot job failures, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity issues. You resolve incidents within SLAs, perform root cause analysis, and optimize system resources.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ETL jobs and resolve failures, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
• Execute SQL queries, stored procedures, and data validation checks.
• Use Linux commands to analyze logs, monitor system performance, and manage operations.
• Follow ITIL Incident Management processes and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Optimize resources and ensure system stability for ETL integrations.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with IBM DataStage and ETL processes.
• Proficient in SQL, including queries, stored procedures, and data validation.
• Hands-on knowledge of Linux commands for monitoring and log analysis.
• Understanding of ITIL Incident Management and SLA adherence.
• 10+ years of experience in ETL support or data engineering roles.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex data issues.
