Description

You will design and implement network monitoring solutions using OpenNMS and associated data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring solutions utilizing OpenNMS and related tools.
• Translate technical concepts for diverse audiences through written and verbal communication.
• Apply network monitoring principles and methodologies to solve complex problems.
• Manage deployments within Linux and containerized environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a solution engineering role, preferably in network monitoring.
• In-depth knowledge of OpenNMS or a demonstrated ability to learn it rapidly.
• Experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Cortex.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Bash, or general automation scripting.
• Familiarity with Grafana, OpenShift, Helm Charts, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience developing custom plugins or integrations for OpenNMS.
