Description

You will design, deploy, and manage OpenShift Container Platform clusters on GCP, handling migrations and automation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage OCP clusters on GCP using self-managed or managed offerings.
• Migrate containerized workloads from on-prem OpenShift to GCP-hosted OpenShift or GKE.
• Automate deployment workflows using Helm, Terraform, GitOps, or native OpenShift tools.
• Manage cluster upgrades, security patches, logging, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Tekton.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure or architecture roles.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift 4.x and Kubernetes architecture.
• Proficiency with GCP infrastructure including Compute Engine, IAM, VPC, GKE, Stackdriver, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Deep understanding of OpenShift features such as Operators, Service Mesh, Routes, and SCCs.
• Strong Linux administration skills and experience with container runtimes like CRI-O, Docker, or Podman.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and GitOps workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Ansible.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing container security, compliance, and hybrid cloud deployments.
