Description

Design and administer large-scale OpenShift and Kubernetes environments in an enterprise setting. You will own the infrastructure lifecycle, from cloud deployment via Infrastructure as Code to CI/CD pipeline implementation and networking configuration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer large OpenShift installations and Kubernetes environments.
• Deploy cloud resources in Azure or other major platforms using Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing Docker or Podman containers.
• Manage networking components including DNS, DHCP, load balancers, VIPs, certificates, and proxies.
• Configure and maintain enterprise storage solutions for OpenShift and Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with OpenShift design and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes implementation.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud resource deployment.
• Experience with CI/CD implementation using Docker or Podman.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols, DNS, DHCP, and Load Balancers.
• Experience managing certificates and proxies.
• Knowledge of enterprise storage options such as NetApp or EMC.

Preferred Skills

• Experience architecting or administering Azure RedHat OpenShift.
• Experience as a Kafka administrator or designing Kafka installations.
• Working knowledge of vSphere or VMware.
