Description

You will engineer, support, and automate Platform-as-a-Service offerings with a focus on OpenShift and cloud technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Red Hat OpenShift environments across VMs, Bare Metal, and ROSA.
• Support and enhance OpenShift Container Platform (v4.15+), OpenShift Data Foundation, and OpenShift Platform Plus.
• Automate deployment processes and contribute to DevOps initiatives using CI/CD tools.
• Migrate and refactor enterprise applications to containerized workloads.
• Ensure optimal performance and scalability of cloud environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering OpenShift environments.
• Expertise in cloud administration across AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux Containers (Docker), and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Shell, and Python for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Technical understanding of Java, JBoss, nginx, and Node.js.
• Experience with container and pod-level monitoring and logging using tools like Dynatrace or QRadar.
• Knowledge of SSL certificate management and security best practices.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies including Kanban, stand-ups, and sprints.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to mentor junior team members and document complex technical solutions.
