Description

You will build and maintain event-driven microservices on OpenShift and Azure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka and optimize caching with Redis or Caffeine.
• Deploy microservices via CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift or AKS using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Write unit and integration tests with JUnit5 and Mockito, ensuring quality with Jacoco coverage reports.
• Perform performance testing to optimize APIs for high throughput and low latency.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of Kafka and event-driven systems.
• Experience deploying applications on OpenShift or AKS.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
