Description

Lead the migration of applications from Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) to OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Assess application architecture, dependencies, and deployment configurations currently running on PCF.
• Execute the migration of applications to OpenShift clusters while maintaining functionality and minimizing disruption.
• Implement configuration changes and deploy containers using best practices for orchestration and management.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, container errors, and platform-specific issues within the OpenShift environment.
• Apply security protocols including RBAC, secrets management, and corporate policy compliance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience designing and architecting enterprise container platforms.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools using Harness.
• Proficiency in scripting with Shell and Helm charts/modules.
• Experience using Autosys.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools and cloud-native patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices and application modernization.
