Description

You will design, implement, and administer container environments for the wireless engineering lab.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and monitor system architectures and container environments to support lab requirements.
• Execute detailed test plans to verify infrastructure integrity, viability, and capacity.
• Research complex systems and document technical standards and results.
• Evaluate vendors and products to provide unbiased technical recommendations.
• Mentor technical staff and guide cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems or container engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of OpenShift, Docker, and Rancher.
• Strong proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, the OSI model, and network architecture.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration and containerized environments.
• Experience with virtualization, hypervisors, and storage technologies.
• Proficiency with network devices and appliances.
• Competency in Microsoft Active Directory and securing Windows environments.
• Ability to produce technical documentation including design documents and test results.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating full engineering documentation packages, including Data Flow Diagrams and Implementation Guides.
• Deep expertise in virtualization and storage integration.
