Description

Manage and administer production-scale Red Hat OpenShift and IBM Cloud Pak infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer production-scale Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage Atlas and Hadoop infrastructure initiatives.
• Resolve critical and complex technical issues within Kubernetes-based projects.
• Perform application deployments and manage CoreOS and Linux OS installations.
• Collaborate with systems engineering to propose and deploy hardware and software for Hadoop environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure administration.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes networking (Services, Endpoints, DNS, LoadBalancers).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes core concepts: Deployment, ReplicaSet, DaemonSet, StatefulSets, and Jobs.
• Experience managing Kubernetes storage via PV, PVC, Storage Classes, and Provisioners.
• Proficiency with Ingress Controllers such as Nginx or Istio and cloud-native load balancers.
• Experience securely managing Kubernetes clusters on cloud providers.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and CoreOS.
