Description

You will lead the design and operation of automated, containerized cloud application platforms and continuous delivery frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-ready distributed application architectures and migrate workloads to containers.
• Build and manage continuous delivery pipelines to automate the lifecycle of platform components.
• Mentor developer communities on CI/CD best practices using Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
• Manage OpenShift and Kubernetes upgrades, patching, and version migrations.
• Perform root cause analysis, emergency response, and proactive stability fixes as an SRE.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and OpenShift architecture.
• Experience with Docker, CRI-O, or Podman.
• Proficiency in automation using Ansible, Shell, or Python scripting.
• Experience managing deployments, rollbacks, and Helm charts.
• Working knowledge of RBAC, storage, and security hardening.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, ELK, or Splunk.
• Familiarity with Linux-based infrastructure and virtualization like VMware or RHEVM.
• Understanding of networking technologies including DNS, SNMP, HTTP, TCP/IP, and CDNs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Puppet or Chef.
• Knowledge of NAS, OCS, or Ceph.
