Description

Manage and maintain Linux-based environments with a focus on container orchestration and observability.

Responsibilities

• Install and administer OpenShift, Redis, and Elastic environments.
• Automate installation and maintenance processes using Linux scripting and Python.
• Integrate and manage observability tools including Splunk, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
• Manage virtualization infrastructure within VMware.
• Maintain container-based platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Linux administration experience.
• Proficiency with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift administration.
• Practical knowledge of Splunk and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Ability to build automation scripts using Python and Linux scripting.
• Experience managing virtualization via VMware.
• Understanding of Public Cloud and container-based platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka.
