Description

Manage OpenShift clusters across bare metal, virtual machines, and containerized environments. Own the platform’s reliability, security, and automation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Administer OpenShift environments using GitOps tools like ArgoCD and Azure DevOps.
• Design and maintain automation using Ansible Automation Platform and Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Implement and manage service mesh components including Istio, OSSM, Kiali, and Grafana.
• Configure advanced networking using Multus and SR-IOV, and manage Kubernetes workloads including Deployments, StatefulSets, and PVCs.
• Integrate automation tools with ServiceNow and version control systems to streamline CI/CD pipelines and cluster upgrades.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes platform administration.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies including Docker.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow and Azure DevOps.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills for CPU, memory, and I/O issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.
