Description

Manage and support Red Hat OpenShift clusters on x86 infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support and BAU maintenance for OpenShift platforms.
• Implement automation for provisioning, scaling, patching, and incident response.
• Maintain platform reliability and resilience using SRE principles.
• Partner with application teams for onboarding, troubleshooting, and usage support.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across compute, storage, networking, and containers.

Required Skills

• Proven experience managing OpenShift on x86-based infrastructure.
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere or virtualised infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with automation tools including Ansible and Terraform.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for networking, storage, and container orchestration.
• Demonstrable experience in production operations within regulated environments.
• Experience supporting internal application teams consuming platform services.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SRE practices including SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or OpenShift certification).
