Description

You will administer and support the OpenShift Container Platform ecosystem across AWS and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the container platform including installation, upgrades, patching, and monitoring.
• Handle cluster capacity management and tenant provisioning through infrastructure as code.
• Provide L3 engineering support and conduct root cause analysis for platform issues.
• Execute change management for OpenShift versions, hotfixes, and system administration tasks.
• Author and maintain system documentation and playbooks.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and administration.
• Expertise with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes.
• Strong Red Hat Linux administration skills (RHEL6/7, Red Hat Atomic Linux).
• Hands-on experience with Docker or similar container technologies.
• Experience managing Kubernetes persistent volumes using Portworx, Trident, Gluster, or Rook.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Ansible Tower for automation.
• Experience with AWS cloud PaaS/IaaS technologies.
• Practical use of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of Git, Jira, and shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Python scripting experience.
• Experience with CRI-O or CoreOS.
