Description

Design, deploy, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift and Rancher Managed Kubernetes Clusters for enterprise initiatives, serving as the Subject Matter Expert for container platform architecture and operations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch OpenShift and Rancher (RKE/RKE2) clusters to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and the EFK stack.
• Troubleshoot cluster, networking, storage, and application issues through root cause analysis.
• Architect secure container platforms and support mixed OS environments (Windows and Linux).
• Create documentation, standards, and operational runbooks for platform maintenance.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Rancher (RKE/RKE2).
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and operations.
• Proficiency with CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as RHCA, CKA, or CKAD.
• Active participation in the Kubernetes community.
