Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of OpenShift clusters, from installation and day-2 operations to upgrades.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure OpenShift clusters (IPI/UPI/Agent-based) on bare metal, VMware, and cloud platforms.
• Perform end-to-end cluster version upgrades, including pre-upgrade checks, operator health validation, and post-upgrade verification.
• Manage cluster resources including projects, quotas, limit ranges, RBAC, network policies, and storage via CSI drivers and PVCs.
• Configure and maintain OpenShift SDN/OVN-K networking, including routes, ingress controllers, load balancers, egress IPs, and DNS.
• Implement security controls such as RBAC, SCCs, OAuth, and Identity Providers (LDAP, Keycloak), and apply CIS benchmarks using ACM.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes administration.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton).
• Strong command of automation tools: Ansible, Helm, and GitOps (ArgoCD/ACM).
• Hands-on experience with cluster operations, including etcd backup/restore, certificate renewal, and node troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose pod failures, container issues, and node performance problems.
