Description

You will manage and maintain the OpenShift container platform while driving infrastructure automation for private virtualized environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment, configuration, and maintenance of OpenShift clusters via custom pipelines.
• Lead infrastructure automation and continuous deployment efforts.
• Review cluster configurations and pipelines to ensure non-disruptive implementation.
• Identify and implement upgrades to maintain system functionality and performance.
• Document new services and infrastructure deployments following best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in platform engineering or container orchestration.
• Expertise in OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Podman or Docker.
• Experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Scripting in Python, Perl, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible playbooks and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system configuration.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and IT Service Management.
• Understanding of systems design and the infrastructure lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working within banks or financial institutions.
