Description

Manage cloud orchestration and telecom-focused virtualization environments.

Deploy and manage OpenStack components including Fuel, Nova, Neutron, and Cinder. Develop HEAT templates and define service recipes. Implement YANG model definitions and create REST/XML API adaptors. Configure networking via Neutron L2/L3 overlays and OVS, DPDK, or SR-IOV. Develop plug-ins for ODL or open source controllers.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage OpenStack components including Fuel, Nova, Neutron, and Cinder.
• Develop HEAT templates and define service recipes.
• Implement YANG model definitions and create REST/XML API adaptors.
• Configure networking via Neutron L2/L3 overlays and OVS, DPDK, or SR-IOV.
• Develop plug-ins for ODL or open source controllers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud or network engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with OpenStack (Fuel, Nova, Neutron, Cinder).
• Strong networking knowledge including BGP, IGP, OSPF, and Segment Routing.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies: ESXi, KVM, and LXC.
• Experience with ETSI MANO and TOSCA orchestration.
• Advanced Linux systems administration.
• Experience with YANG/NETCONF modeling (IETF or OpenConfig).
• Knowledge of SDN controllers such as ODL, ONOS, or Open Controller.
• Hands-on configuration of Cisco, Juniper, or Arista hardware.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Juniper Contrail.
• Familiarity with OpenFlow (OF).
