Description

You will develop and maintain applications within the OpenText Content Server ecosystem, owning the full application lifecycle from design to release.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, functional code using Java and participate in the full application lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and perform UI tests to optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Build reusable code and libraries to improve legacy applications and future development.
• Liaise with designers and system administrators to gather requirements and identify new features.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience designing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Proficiency with XML, JSON, and RESTful Services.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
• Competency with build management tools including Ant and Maven.
• Strong knowledge of Relational Databases (Oracle) and ORM technologies like JPA2 and Hibernate.
• Experience with TDD/BDD development and Object Oriented analysis and design.
• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working with OpenText Content Management or OpenText Content Server.
