Description

You will develop mathematical and optimization models to drive strategic and tactical solutions for inventory management, network flow, and supply chain optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced mathematical, simulation, and optimization models to address inventory management and distribution needs.
• Apply optimization techniques and algorithms to create solution methodologies for in-house decision support tools.
• Research, prototype, and experiment with models using Python and participate in production-level deployment.
• Lead project plans from a scientific perspective by managing technical risks, milestones, and launch plans.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and present findings to Science, Product, and Engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience building models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with numerical optimization.
• Experience with data mining.
• Experience with parallel and distributed computing or high-performance computing.
• Experience with parsing.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in linear, non-linear, mixed-integer, large-scale, network, robust, or stochastic optimization.
• Experience building optimization models and implementing them using OR tools such as CPLEX, Gurobi, or XPRESS.
• Experience validating and simulating mathematical optimization models.
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale optimization systems in production.
