Key Responsibilities

• Monitor application and platform health using monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Manage application deployments, releases, and environment configurations.
• Support production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
• Handle service requests, incident management, and problem management activities.
• Monitor system logs, alerts, and performance metrics.
• Automate routine operational tasks using scripting tools.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in on-call support and production support rotations.
• Assist in capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security and operational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in Application Support, Platform Support, Production Support, or Operations Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Knowledge of incident management and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.).
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls).
• Experience with SQL databases and troubleshooting database-related issues.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Shell, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
