Description

You manage VMware tools and support applications within a private cloud platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage firewall rules and exceptions for private cloud infrastructure.
• Develop functionality and setup for new systems.
• Write and automate daily routines using scripting.
• Maintain and improve documentation and configuration databases.
• Handle 2nd and 3rd level incidents, troubleshooting problems.

Required Skills

• Experience with VMware, vRealize, vSAN, and NSX-T.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and SaltStack.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, VBScript, and .NET.
• Familiarity with Windows environments.
• Experience operating within a private cloud platform.
• Understanding of security and legal compliance in IT operations.
• 10+ years of experience in operations engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate education.
• 1 year tenure in current role.
