Description

Engineer, implement, and support virtual desktop solutions while managing the lifecycle of desktop infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and Citrix Cloud environments.
• Lead problem determination across multiple technology domains and engage with application and infrastructure teams.
• Manage incident resolution, vulnerability fixes, and off-hours change implementation.
• Drive platform direction through environment creation, software upgrades, and performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 5 to 7 years of experience in desktop, VDI, or platform engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of experience providing Tier 3 escalation support.
• Advanced knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (1912 and later preferred).
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows technologies including Windows Server (2012R2, 2016, or 2019) and Windows 10.
• Strong administration skills in Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Experience with Hyper-V, failover clustering, and System Center Virtual Machine Manager.
• Proficiency in vDisk management, application packaging, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with application debugging using Citrix tools, Microsoft System Internals, Wireshark, or ControlUp.
• Knowledge of Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS), Machine Creation Services (MCS), and Citrix ADC/NetScaler.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Citrix Cloud, App Layering, and Ivanti Application Control or Environment Manager.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Ansible, and immutable infrastructure.
