Description

You will configure network management toolsets to ensure proper device support for data collection, reporting, and orchestration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation toolsets using Python and Perl for change management and data collection.
• Enhance existing scripts to improve workflows and incorporate new technologies.
• Transform operational and functional needs into technical solutions.
• Conduct tooling audits to assess operational coverage and implement remediation changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to gather requirements and manage tooling upgrades.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network operations or automation.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with Linux environments.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, BitBucket, or GitHub.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Enterprise Network Configuration Management and Network Workflow Automation tools.
• Knowledge of database management systems like MongoDB.
• Understanding of NMAS protocols including SNMP, Syslog, NTP, DNS, NetFlow, TACACS, Netconf, and API.
• Familiarity with data formats such as Jinja, Yang, YAML, XML, JSON, and HTTP/HTTPS.
• Experience configuring large-scale deployments of routers and switches in mission-critical environments.
• Understanding of orchestration tools such as Cisco Crosswork/NSO, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco NDFC, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies including VMware, Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's Degree is compulsory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with shell scripting and PERL.
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization.
