Optimization Data Scientist

Develop and deploy mathematical optimization and data science solutions for business applications.

Responsibilities

• Apply mathematical optimization to manufacturing production scheduling or process optimization.
• Implement statistical modeling, machine learning, clustering, and classification techniques.
• Build and deploy recommendation and optimization algorithms in production environments.
• Leverage big data technologies to support data analytics and model training.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, operations research, engineering, or mathematics.
• Extensive programming experience with Python or R.
• Proficiency with optimization solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, or LocalSolver.
• Deep knowledge of mathematical optimization principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including Snowflake, GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience with big data technologies including Spark, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, and Pig.
• Ability to deploy models in a production business environment.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience in manufacturing production schedule or process optimization development.
