Description

You will solve real-world oil and gas midstream problems using machine learning, data science algorithms, and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and frame optimization opportunities by understanding specific business problems.
• Gather, cleanse, and transform internal and external data for analysis.
• Create, productionize, and maintain models and solutions that address business needs.
• Deliver insights through visualizations and dashboards.
• Present and defend analysis results, modeling approaches, and strategic planning discussions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience framing and solving optimization problems in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with applied statistics, mathematics, and optimization techniques.
• Professional experience with numerical optimization, linear programming, nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, integer programming, numerical methods, or heuristic methods.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience using tools such as Google OR Tools, SciPy.Optimize, CPLEX, Gurobi, GAMS, LINGO, Pyomo, MATLAB, Arena, or Vensim on real-world problems.
• Ability to communicate complex insights and approaches in a simple, actionable manner.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building solutions in AWS.
• Educational background in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering.
