Description

You will lead the upgrade of Oracle ADF applications from 12c to 14c and modernize the underlying Java stack to Java 21. You will manage WebLogic middleware migrations, remediating deprecated APIs and handling javax to jakarta transitions. You will support mission-critical HR and financial applications through regression testing, performance benchmarking, and production issue resolution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade Oracle ADF Faces, ADF BC, task flows, and bindings to WebLogic 14.1.2.x.
• Remediate deprecated APIs and migrate enterprise Java applications to Java 21/GraalVM.
• Manage WebLogic 12c/14c administration, deployment troubleshooting, and JVM tuning.
• Validate and upgrade REST/SOAP integrations, including Jersey and SFTP/SSH components.
• Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and implement code fixes in JDeveloper.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle ADF 12c.
• Proven experience upgrading Oracle ADF Faces, ADF BC, and WebLogic deployments.
• Strong expertise in Java 21, JDK 8 migration, and javax to jakarta transitions.
• Deep understanding of WebLogic 12c/14c, JVM tuning (G1GC/ZGC), and SSL/TLS 1.3.
• Experience with Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle SOA, and Oracle BPEL.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and distributed technologies.
• Ability to analyze production incidents and handle production calls for application issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OCI-based deployments and enterprise middleware components.
• Strong analytical ability to identify process improvements and gaps in business requirements.
